Verizon Wireless has just announced that Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 edition will go live this Thursday, September 30 for $249 with a $100 mail-in rebate on contract. Droid 2 R2-D2 is a Star-Wars themed phone with a lot of live wallpapers, sounds, photos, widgets and more from the movie. The phone is rumored to be powered by 1.2GHz processor.
