HTC Desire HD with Android Froyo is Found in the Wild!

There has been some leaked images about successor of the HTC Desire, named HTC Desire HD. The photo leaked from a forum Uwants, and if the image is truly the HTC Desire HD, then the Desire HD will come with Android 2.2 Froyo with HTC Sense UI.

Other HTC Desire HD expected specs and features include 4.3-inch WVGA display, an 8-megapixel autofocus camera, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 4GB of internal memory, along with a microSD card, 720p HD video capture, WiFi and Bluetooth. Judging from the Desire HD specs, it seems that the Desire HD shares a lot similarities with the HTC EVO 4G. What’s missing in this Desire HD is the 4G a.k.a. WiMax connectivity.

Other specs are smartphone standard specs, such as GPS, SRS Audio, Xvid playback, Digital Compass and Flash 10.1 support

Anyway, with the success of HTC EVO 4G, the coming of the Desire HD – which has similar specs and features minus WiMax – is highly possible. Surely HTC wants to present the 3G version of EVO 4G for non-4G markets.
